Stepping Into New Shoes
I can’t wait to be
stepping into new shoes,
shivers in my shins.
I can’t wait
to walk into my new form room, with a spring in my step.
Bursting into my first day,
like a flower growing in a new garden.
I can’t wait to be
eating sandwiches
and drinking slushies in the new canteen.
Learning new hobbies,
and making new friends.
Unlocking a whole new chapter in my life.
