Growing our community program with Amazon Literary Partnership
We are delighted to announce that Amazon Literary Partnership will gift us £15,000 in 2025 to support our Community Writing Labs.
This support comes at a crucial time as we will be expanding our labs to accommodate two more groups from September and increasing the age range of young people we support up to 18.
This will mean our brilliant young writers can work with us from the age of six all the way up to eighteen, learning lifelong skills and making lifelong friends.
With Amazon Literary Partnership funding in 2024, we delivered two inventive creative writing projects: London Landmarks and Spy School. These projects sparked the imaginations of our young writers and we were so impressed with how they grew in confidence and resilience.
Darren Hardy, Senior Manager of EU+UK Author Programmes at Amazon, shared his excitement for the partnership:
“We are extremely proud to once again be supporting Ministry of Stories’ wonderful work through the Amazon Literary Partnership. The team’s community writing workshops are more essential than ever, inspiring and instilling passion in the next generation of young writers, giving them the freedom and confidence to pursue their creative ambitions. We’re delighted to be able to play a part in this mission.”
