We’re looking for a Community Champion and someone with Fundraising Experience to join our Board.

Trustee – Community Champion 

  • Voluntary role
  • Trustees initially join the board for three years, and are then eligible for re-appointment for a second three-year term.
  • Deadline for applications is Tuesday 12th December 2023. Shortlisted candidates will then be invited for a further informal conversation

The Ministry of Stories is looking for a new Community Champion trustee: a well connected member of our local community who is able to champion our work locally, whilst listening and sharing with us the current issues and priorities within the community.

You could be a local parent or volunteer, or have grown up or work locally. You will share our vision of inspiring and supporting young people’s ideas, imagination and voice through their creativity and writing. You will have the time and passion to be an important part of our organisation, helping us to keep young people and our community at its heart.

We are looking for a new trustee with Fundraising Experience: someone who can help connect us to individual philanthropists, senior corporate leaders and/or their own network, and help our fundraising team to lever significant income for the organisation.

You will share our vision of inspiring and supporting young people’s ideas, imagination and voice through their creativity and writing. You will have the time and passion to be an important part of our organisation, helping us to secure the long-term financial security of the charity.
