Every week during term time, we open up our doors for our Community Writing Labs. These clubs run after school and on Saturday and offer a chance for young people from Hoxton to explore their imaginations while building their confidence, writing and communication skills.

During each session, children are supported by our expert volunteer Writing Mentors to try their hand at all kinds of writing and to share their ideas with the group.

There is also a library on offer for those who’d’ like to take home books as well as time to time to play, move and make friends.

Members must live within 500m of our writing centre (see on a map) or attend one of the following schools:

• St Monica’s Catholic Primary School
• St John The Baptist C Of E Primary School
• Thomas Fairchild Community School
• Virginia Primary School

Days and Times

For 6 – 8 year olds:

Tuesday — 3.45pm – 5pm

Friday — 3:45pm – 5pm

For 8 – 12 year olds:

Wednesday — 3.45pm – 5.15pm

Thursday — 3.45pm – 5.15pm

Saturday — 11am – 12.30pm
