A New Chair of Trustees

Posted by theministry on 19th June 2025

It’s all change on the Ministry of Stories Board.

After nine years on the board of Ministry of Stories, and three as Chair of Trustees, we say an enormous thank you and farewell to Michaela Greene (Director of Partnerships and Impact at Roundhouse) who steps down from Ministry of Stories this month.

Over the last nine years Michaela has guided us with great leadership, humour and a valuable blend of vision and pragmatism. As the organisation has grown, Michaela has brought together a talented board of trustees who bring a wealth of experience and expertise to Ministry of Stories and our work.

She has been instrumental in ensuring we remain rooted in our Hoxton community, but with a vision and ambition that reflects the world-class work our children and young people create.

As is tradition, Michale has now earned her place in our Ministerial Cabinet, named as the new Minister for Effing Jeffing.

Replacing Michaela as Chair of Trustees is Rebecca Hanna-Grindall (Director of Arts Planning and Producing at Southbank Centre). With 20 years of experience in producing and arts administration, Rebecca has worked with organisations such as the BBC, the Royal Court Theatre and independent producing company Fuel.

On joining the Ministry of Stories board, Rebecca says: “I’m delighted to be joining Ministry of Stories as their new Chair. It’s an exciting time for the organisation and I feel honoured to be part of this next chapter.”
