Bring your skills to the Ministry

We are looking for a strategic Business Development Manager to grow our school writing clubs programme.

£30,000 p.a. pro rata | 3 days a week (0.6 FTE)
5-month fixed term contract with potential for renewal

We are recruiting for a new Business Development Manager who will engage new and existing school partners, maximise income and build successful relationships with teachers and school leaders.

This fixed-term contract will work to SMART targets for club programme numbers, pipeline development, marketing resources development and income generation.

With strong business acumen and excellent communication skills, you will understand schools’ priorities and how our work is aligned to their needs.

• You will have experience in a business development capacity, with a focus on marketing or sales, ideally in a charity/education organisation
• You will understand the challenges of working with schools and have a good knowledge of the current education environment, and will continue developing and implementing our strategy to sustain and grow the Ministry of Stories school club programme
• You will have a proven ability to plan, prioritise and meet targets on deadline
• You may have a background as a creative practitioner, with an interest in the business side engaging with schools.
