Nadia Lines
Nadia Lines is an award-winning poet and playwright from Hertfordshire. She won the Foyle Young Poets of the Year Award, the Tower Poetry Competition, and the Orwell Youth Prize.
Their writing has been published widely, in journals including fourteen poems, & other poems, The Cambridge Review of Books, and Modern Poetry in Translation. Her debut poetry pamphlet was published by Nine Pens Press in 2022, and she holds a BA 1st Class in English and a Master’s degree with Distinction, both from the University of Cambridge.
Their plays have been performed across the UK, and she won Best New Play at the 2024 Cambridge Festival of Drama. Nadia is arts administrator and creative facilitator, having joined Ministry as a trainee, and has worked for organisations including The Poetry Society, The Offshoot Foundation, and the National Centre for Writing. She loves instant noodles, dogs, and embroidery.
