The Ministry receives an uplift in NPO funding from Arts Council England

Our Story Ministers are proud and awfully pleased to hear that the Ministry of Stories will remain part of the National Portfolio of the Arts Council England from 2015.
Ministry of Stories co-director Ben Payne said:
‘Arts Council England has today announced that the Ministry of Stories will receive increased support from 2015. We are absolutely delighted with this news, even as it comes in the context of difficult decisions for public funding of the arts as a whole. We will use our funding to strengthen our distinctive model and methodology, which we believe can play a crucial role in raising achievement, aspirations and literacy skills of young people who do not have regular opportunities to write the stories that they want to tell.’
