We’re offering the chance to book our exciting creative writing workshops at half the usual price.

We understand how tough things are for schools at the moment. That’s why we’re offering a 50% discount on all our amazing and exciting one-off workshops for primary and secondary schools right through to Summer 2024.

You can now book a schools’ workshop – on site at Ministry of Stories, for up to 30 students – for £150 (usually £300) and bring the power of creative writing to your students.

Each 2-hour workshop experience is packed full of creative activities to engage and inspire even the most reluctant writers. Students will enter our exciting writing space through a secret door in our fantastical shop Hoxton Street Monster Supplies, sparking playfulness and imagination from the start of their experience.

Throughout the session, there are fun writing games, lively discussions, and opportunities for students to share their work aloud.

All our workshops are delivered by professional poets, authors, spoken word artists and theatre-makers.

Story Making Workshop (KS2 – KS4)

In our flagship Story Making Workshop, every student becomes a published author in just two hours. The group collaborates to build chapter one of an original story together, as a live illustrator and a typist bring the ideas to life. Students individually create their own next chapter, while behind the scenes, the story is being typeset and published.

Each young writer leaves Ministry of Stories with their own beautifully designed book, inspired to continue their creative adventure at home. This workshop is a proven hit with students and teachers too!
