Vote for imagination, fun and stories

Posted by Thea King on 23rd October 2018

We need your help to be in with a chance to win £10,000 as part the Aviva Community Fund public vote to make sure our free writing clubs stay free for the young writers of Hoxton.

Over the next 4-weeks we’re asking our friends and supporters to vote as part of the Aviva Community Fund, which offers financial support to causes important to local communities.

It’s a lot of money for an organisation like us, and would make a big difference in keeping our doors open to young people to discover their power and creativity

How you can help

Cast your vote – It takes two minutes and could make all the difference to our campaign.

Tell your friend – Twitter, Facebook, text message; help us get the word out using the hashtag #voteforimagination and the link to vote http://bit.ly/2Aoe5AL

Votes closes on the 20 November so get voting today!

Why we need your support

40% of children in Hackney and Tower Hamlets are affected by poverty. Children living in low-income households are twice as likely to have fallen below expected levels in reading and writing by the age of 11.

Our workshops are free of charge and reach children who face these challenges. We give our young writers one-to-one support and feedback on their writing to help them explore and develop a love of writing for pleasure.
