School Workshop: Poetry Makers

Help our downhearted poet regain their spark.

• KS2, group of up to 30
• Ministry of Stories Writing Centre, Hoxton
• 2-hour one-off workshop
• £150 per class group

Bring your class to Ministry HQ as they help our downhearted poet regain their spark through a series of fun, fast-paced poetry making activities. Children leave the workshop with a beautifully printed original class poem, and with individual booklets to continue poetry making at school or home.

• Techniques and vocabulary
• Oracy skills through group work and performance
• Encouraging creativity, word play and expression
• Exploring what poetry means to pupils and providing choice in what they want to write about
