Rob Biddulph visits the Ministry
The award winning author and illustrator Rob Biddulph popped by to meet our young writers and run a monstrously good workshop.
This week we welcomed award-winning author, illustrator and draw along genius Rob Biddulph to the Ministry.
Rob met with a group of our young writers to introduce them to his new book Monster Madness and run a workshop on how to illustrate some of the characters from the book, telling great tales along the way.
Rob Smith, Ministry of Stories Director said; ‘It was fantastic to see our writers completely inspired by Rob’s journey to becoming a top children’s writer, illustrator (and world-record holder), and of his dog called Toothbrush.
‘With a few of his top tips, our writers each made their own fantastic monstrous drawing, before challenging Rob to live draw a tattooed, muscly fire breathing dragon called Brutus from Class 1A – of course they did!’
Rob also took the time to paint our shop windows and do a book signing event for our local community, so a big thank you to Rob and the team at Harper Collins for all the hairy, monstrous fun.
You can get your paws and claws on a copy of Draw With Rob: Monster Madness through our shop, Hoxton Street Monster Supplies.
