Laila Sumpton 

Laila is a poet, editor, performer and educator who works with schools, hospitals, museums, galleries and charities on a wide variety of poetry projects. Laila fearlessly co-edited the Monster Travel Guide series on sale in Hoxton Street Monster Supplies with fellow Ministry writer Sandra A Agard collating creative work from the Writing Labs and leading workshops on international monsters! She leads teacher training sessions specialising in diversifying creative writing practice and on how to explore history through poetry. She co-founded Poetry Vs Colonialism – an arts and education organisation who help learners of all ages unravel the histories of empire creatively.
