Our Winter Appeal Has Launched
Gift some imagination fuel this winter…
Are you looking to support our young writers this winter season? Whether it’s £2 to cover a personal notebook for exploring ideas or £50 towards hiring an inspiring visiting artist, it all acts as fuel for our young writers’ vibrant imaginations.
Though the weather has turned icy, here at our Writing Centre we’ve been kept toasty by the fiery creativity of our young writers.
This winter period, we are looking to raise £1000 to support our young writers and any level of donation helps:
- £6 would secure three young people their own personal notebooks, which they can use to explore their ideas and nurture their imagination.
- £15 covers the cost of 27 packets of breadsticks, otherwise known as imagination fuel, for our young writers.
- £50 would contribute to paying a professional artist to collaborate with our writing labs – bringing a ray of inspiration to east London’s young minds.
Every week, we welcome 150 young people into our free, safe creative writing hub in the heart of Hoxton. With two new groups launched this September, we’ve never had a wider age-range of young writers. It’s a joy to see them all developing their writing skills, bolstering their confidence and solidifying their aspirations week-in, week-out.
