Hire our writing centre, based on the high street in the vibrant community of Hoxton for your event, away day or training. We can comfortably accommodate up to 35 guests seated in our main workshop or up to 50 people standing for whole building hire.
All proceeds from our venue hire help us to provide free creative writing programmes for young people.

We’re available for hire every Monday and Friday throughout the year and Monday to Saturday during school holidays. Most hires tend to be daytime, but we may be able extend to early evenings, depending on what you’re looking for.
We have a small kitchen and two toilets (one accessible), air conditioning, air purifier, 40 chairs, two benches and seven tables. We are fully wheelchair accessible and welcome all questions regarding accessibility.
We can provide a projector, speakers, hot water urn, chalkboard and many other exciting things including a book vending machine (which could be adapted for your use) and our shop for Monsters. (Additional charges may apply).
Unfortunately, we don’t offer birthday parties for little or big people or Sunday hire.

This room contains our little children’s library if you need some inspiration.
We are based in the creative heart of Shoreditch, close to the City of London. We’re just a 10-minute walk from Old Street Station, 5-minutes from Hoxton Overground Station and on the bus routes for many central London bus routes. Worth knowing
If you hire one of our rooms, our team will be working in other areas of the building, with shared use of the kitchen and toilet facilities. For whole building hire, one staff member will be on-site to support you.
Our shop is open to the public, Tuesday – Fridays (1pm-5pm) and Saturdays (11am-5pm). Additional shopping hours or an in-store discount may be possible as part of your hire. Please ask and we’ll see what we can do.
