Sean Clarke

Sean joined Hoxton Street Monster Supplies as Non Executive Director in 2014, following his retirement as a trustee at the Ministry of Stories. In November 2019, Sean was announced as the Managing Director of Multi Academy Award winning studio Aardman Animations, taking over from co-founder David Sproxton, who stepped back from the MD role after 43 years at the helm of the organization. Sean has been a senior entertainment executive with over twenty-five years of experience in animated entertainment and most recently a co-executive producer on Aardman’s Netflix Original Film Chicken Run Dawn of the Nugget, Shaun the Sheep Flight Before Xmas and Exec Producer on preschool Tv series for Sky, Very Small Creatures. Sean has been at Aardman for more than 20 years and headed the Sales and Marketing division of the studio for over a decade.
